A well tuned piano is a pleasure to play and hear.  It works better, lasts longer, and sounds with the clear, full tone it was meant to have.  A piano tuned and regulated properly enables children taking lessons to train their fingers and their ears while practising.  A piano goes out of tune from changes in temperature, humidity, and from normal use.  Therefore your piano needs regular "tune-ups" just like your car.
